Job Description:
ANB Paint & Repair is seeking a skilled Paint & Repair Technician to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a multi-skilled professional with experience in both painting and general handyman tasks. The technician will work on a variety of residential projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform exterior and interior painting, including surface preparation (sanding, scraping, priming, etc.)
- Handle minor repairs such as drywall patching, carpentry fixes, caulking, and light fixture installations
- Use appropriate tools and techniques to ensure a smooth and durable finish on all painted surfaces
- Maintain job site cleanliness and protect areas not being worked on
- Assess and troubleshoot repair needs, providing efficient and effective solutions
- Follow project timelines and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project expectations are met
- Ensure all work complies with safety and company standards
- Provide excellent customer service for every client
Requirements:
- Experience as a painter and/or general repair technician preferred.
- Knowledge of residential painting techniques, tools, and materials preferred.
- Experience with minor home repairs (drywall, carpentry, caulking, etc.) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have reliable transportation and basic tools; specialized equipment is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or scaffolding
